Justin Glover enters his third season as an assistant athletics communications director at North Texas. Glover is the primary sport contact for Mean Green men’s basketball and cross country and track and field teams, while assisting with football.
Glover worked on numerous projects during his first season with the Mean Green, including two Beyond the Green features, and five features about track & field student-athletes this past season.
Prior to coming to North Texas, Glover worked three years at UNCG from 2012-15 as the primary contact for many UNCG sports, including women’s basketball, women’s soccer, softball, men’s & women’s tennis. During his time at UNCG, he hosted two SoCon championships in softball running official stats, created social media accounts for his sports and implemented Instagram accounts for softball and women’s soccer.
Glover was a communications assistant at FGCU from 2011-12 working with the women’s soccer, softball, swimming & diving and men’s & women’s tennis programs. While in Fort Myers, he covered three conference championships with women’s soccer (2011), softball (2012) and swimming & diving (2012).
He received his master’s degree in sports management from Georgia State University while working as a graduate assistant in the Georgia State communications office from 2009-11. Glover worked with men’s soccer and the men’s and women’s tennis programs in Atlanta.
Glover graduated from Campbell University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting with a minor in journalism. He was the sports editor of the school newspaper the Campbell Times for two years and helped in the Campbell sports information office. His first start in media relations was a year-long internship at Western Carolina University from 2008-09.
He and his wife, Stephanie, reside in Corinth with their dog Dexter.
